Hi, we are…

Martina & Brian Cyr.

We are also cyriousdesign.

Welcome!

Pronounced… “serious” design. See our name is Cyr. Same as “Sears”. Now do you… OK, never mind. :)

We are footwear designers/developers, artists, creators and makers. It’s who we are. We are passionate about all things “design”, making, creating and purposeful travel.

Since we are product designers, we also occasionally review products. You can see some cyriousdesign reviews on Youtube. We do it from a product designers point of view.

We are also B Corps™ “Activists” or better yet… “warriors”! We are helping these and similar minded companies to gain more of a following. If we all purchase our goods and services from these people, the better for us AND the planet.

We are also very passionate about informing others about all the “good”, responsible products and service companies that are out there.

Those companies are often (but not always): Certified B Corporations

We want to help all of us to be brand and product loyal to the companies that care about people and the planet, in addition to their profits. B Corps™ are in the business of making this world a better place. Personally, we are not perfect but our goal is for consistent, minimalist, if not responsible consumption as well as spreading the information needed so that we can ALL choose to support these companies with our purchasing vote ($).

We say IF… you NEED a product or service, get it from B Corps™ or a similar minded responsible company.

We can all buy smarter and create positive change with our actions. It starts one mindful purchase at a time. We just need to do what we can and we’ll see what happens. If it becomes a “habit” from there well then it’s ALL GOOD. B GOOD.
