This is a global community of leaders that strives to be more than just the best in the world but the best… FOR the world. These businesses are all about positive change. Kinda like corporate “super heroes” for us and the planet.
Why should we support B Corps™?
Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. B Corps™ are a connected community of leaders and driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good.
How do I know if the product or service I am using is a from a Certified B Corporation? And better yet… how do I find and support these awesome companies?
Well look no further! That’s one of the things we are trying to do here at cyriousdesign.com, educate, inspire and spread the word! We’ll help all we can. Also, look for the “Circle B” logo. It’s often beside the other logo’s on the packaging or website, like…USDA Certified Organic, Leaping Bunny, Fair Trade, FDIC, etc…
Before you hit the stores or go online to shop, come research with us. Look for product or services you would like and then choose which B Corp best feels like someone you would want to do business with.
So our mission is to do all the research for all of us and organize the companies by product type, etc… so we can all align ourselves with them, and create change in businesses and the world. Ah…nothing to it!
How or where can I purchase these products?
We will list their websites for you in order of product or service. You can then link to the company and find a local retailer or order from them.
What’s in it for us? Are we sponsored, paid testers or influencers? What’s our “angle”?
No. We are not getting paid for this website or for anything we are doing here. We are B Corps™ “activists” or “warriors” because we honestly believe these companies are ONE of the great ways we, regular people”, can change the world. It may be one purchase at a time but if we all shift our minds a bit to be more conscious consumers, personally, we believe we will change the world for the better.
